About the Author
Who builds and runs PDF to PNG Converter — and the editorial standards behind every article.
Operator
PDF to PNG Converter is an independent project run from South Korea by a web-services developer who originally built it to solve a personal, repetitive need: "convert this PDF to PNG, quickly, with no fuss." It grew into a tool used by thousands of people a day, and the roadmap is shaped by watching how those users actually convert files.
Editorial standards
Every article aims to be useful to someone who lands on it from search a year later. To that end:
- Specific scenarios over generic primers — the article opens with who is doing this and why.
- Executable commands and code — readers should be able to copy-paste and run.
- Comparison tables and measurements — not "PNG is better" but "PNG comes out 150 KB smaller than JPG on text pages."
- Korean and English published in parallel, so neither audience is an afterthought.
- Failure modes are documented alongside successes — "this is the fast path" plus "this is what breaks it."
Tech stack
The site itself is built on Next.js 15 (App Router) with a separate conversion worker. The tech opinions in the blog come from actually operating that stack — not from a survey.
